BaySport on the Bay II

What a great time shared with family and friends on San Francisco Bay, this past five days, targeting halibut and saltwater stripers! Pictures say it all:

Nice 18 lb. halibut!

Bill with his catch!

Nice view of the Bay.

Saltwater striper.

Trolling live anchovy. The bait bill was $35.00 each day!

Two stripers on at once! 5-6 lb. range.

Keith releases another striper!

I liked it so much that I'm staying another 2 weeks! I love the cool temps of S.F. Bay (sorry[Wink]).

Nice job on the Stripers and way to go on another nice Flattie. It looks like you are set on fish tacos for a while.[cool]

[font "Comic Sans MS"][black][size 3]I arrived in SF Bay area last weekend to fish with Baysport and Capt Keith. Yesterday, July 3rd, we landed well over 20 halibut and had 7 keepers in the box. All fish were caught either on a live bait drift or trolling the shallow flats. We caught nothing big but it was a lot of fun. We're taking the 4th off hitting again for a fishing marathon from Thursday thru the weekend.[/size][/black][/font]

Sounds like fun. Give me a holler when you can make down to SoCal. We have plenty in the 40 and 50lb range.[cool]
