Had a great trip to Oregon and Washington. Took a charter out 2 different days and caught a bunch of salmon. You could keep 2 a day which we did. Brought home around 40 pounds of salmon. Tried fresh tuna for the first time and brought home some sturgeon meat to cook. The Oregon/Washington coast was beautiful. The Bonneville fish hatchery is a must see. Beautiful grounds and some big trout and sturgeon to look at. Caught 1 king but it was the same size as the silvers.

Hi Kent,
Sounds like you have been having fun @ the berry. I had to buy some sturgeon meat so I could see how it tastes. I sure hope I can go back again. There were alot of people fishing were the Deschutes river flows into the Columbia. This was my first time to Oregon and Washington. I would like to spend more time fishing for steelhead and salmon. I sure felt bad when I drove by Mountain Home and your fishing spot without being able to fish for sturgeon.
