My new (expensive) toy
#1
Just got back from the doc(Sportsmans) and got out with only spending $1100! I bought an Extrema II and i absolutely love it. I compared theBenelli SBE, Browning silver, and some others and i finally decided on this one. Look out birds, you're SOL.[sly]

I have to say them both are pretty sweet guns you guys have,I just couldn't spend that kind of money on a gun that gets the abuse I dish out in the swamps,My 20GA 870 express magnum kills ducks and geese just fine, and has been reliable when it gets really cold out there, and I dont mind when it gets all muddy.
But I would love to have a gun like that for doves, pheasants or chuckers.
I did spend 1100.00 bucks on a mud motor for this year, and it gunna get really muddy.[Wink]
video take a minute to load:

I finally fired mine tonight. First five shots out the barrel killed 5 doves![Smile] I then tried to fire fast and it did not dissappoint. I could fire 3- 3 1/2" magnums as fast as i could pull the trigger. I had an 1100 that i actually had to wait to cycle. This gun is ready as fast as you are. I would have looked at your gun but they didn't have any. I am not dissappoionted. Can't wait to fill the sky with steele.[cool]

Hey Brody tell me why you went with the Extrema II... I am looking at upgrading my shotgun and I have been looking at the beretta and the benelli... I am very familiar with the benelli, not so familiar with the beretta... any insight???

There are a number of reasons i went with the Extrema II.
First was the lower rib on the barrel. Point of impact ribs work better for me.
Second was the influence of MANY friends that have shot the super black eagle and are trading them in for the extrema II due to malfunction in very cold weather.
Third was the price. The black ex II was $400 cheaper than the SBE. You can buy recoil reducer exII's for $1500 but i ain't scared of a little 3 1/2" mag.[Tongue]
Fourth was the overall feel of the gun and the different spacers and adjustments you can do to the gun.
I compared 5 or 6 guns and price was not an issue on deciding as my wife told me i could "get what i wanted".[shocked]
Overall i h\think i got the best guy i could buy.
