That is funny. I'd like to ask this hotshot if he'd like to take me on for, say, $150 per fish. One day on water of his choice, and one day on water of my choice.
And a whole 10 years it took him to figure out his little secrets. Wow! A real veteran.

I think we need a little fishing tournament so we all get a shot at this guy. The only time I've every encountered someone with spinners that caught more on a river or stream than me was this summer when fishing a small stream. I was following behind 2 spin fisherman without realizing they where there. They had just covered the same water 10- 20 minutes earlier. I still consider myself a rookie at fly fishing (5yrs) but managed to put things together enough to average over 10 fish/hour on the water for the past 6 months. Bring it on spinboy.

[black]WOW ! What a bargain ! All those decades I've wasted trying countless techniques. And, all I needed was a Panther Martin, Rooster Tail or Mepps ? Oh well.[/black]

[black]Which spinner do you suppose he would use for one of my favorite fish to target with a fly - Carp ? [/black]

I also have to wonder which of the spinners the peskey little Burbots would be most interested in ?
