New Deers Eve

Thats right , hope all you guys have a great new deers eve , a new deer to hang on the wall that is [cool].

Roosterfish and I are heading up to deercamp , will probably see Bassass while we are up there [].
I hope Roosterfish finally gets his buck , maybe he will have a bearwalk visitation and things will work out for him [].
I set him a stand up right along a scrape line , tracks are pretty good sized and man those hoofs are spread !
I'm not too far from his spot about 50 yards or so along another travle area .

If all else fails , the steelies are in the river now [].

I don't mean to put a damper on the festivities but ly I have to report there will be no deers eve for me.

Instead of heading out to the woods in the morning I'll be getting up early and driving my daughter to Detroit to see a specialist. Yup that's right a doctor. We recently found out she has a tumor wrapping itself around the muscles in her arm. Our family doctor sent us to a sugeon here in Grand Rapids but he wasn't confident he would be able to remove it so it's off to Detroit to see a specialist. No word yet if it is cancerious or not. Our Dr. doesn't "think" it is. Tests are pending but we won't know for sure until it's removed. Not fun... not fun at all.

Not sure if I'll even get a deer licence at this point.

My prayers go out to you my friend ! What your daughter and your family are going thru is heartbreaking to say the least . Be ashured that I hope only the best for your little girl .
Mike please keep me updated and if there is anything I can do , let me know .
I know you won't have much time left for anything but your family right now so I will keep an open door here for you , you take good care of her and tell here were all pulling for her at my house .

The doctor in Detroit said no problem. Tumor is scheduled to be taken out on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
