[#0000ff]Stuff still happens, but it does not stay on the boards long enough to smell bad. Our team of 4 mods have a set of guidelines and a special Utah mod board that helps us stay on top of things and remain in constant communication.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Glad somebody noticed the difference. We DO seem to be getting a lot of new members too. The more the merrier.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Now everybody go fishing and have a good time...and post those reports. That's a command.[/#0000ff]

As a fly & hardware guy I have never fished the hard stuff. A bunch of us from UWN are taking me out to the hard deck so I will no longer be an ice virgin. Hope to post a report that does not include me going throught the ice!

[cool][#0000ff]I think you are going to find that it is tough to hit that 8" hole in the ice with a long cast. I suggest starting out with shorter casts until you can hit it with regularity. Also, use a sinking fly and a short leader. They are not too leader shy under the ice.[/#0000ff]

I was fishing a crystal flash bugger on 2x tippet and couldn't get any hookups on the ice. A guy with a snowmobile told me I was doing it all wrong told me to hop on the back and we will troll. That didn't do much better so screw it I used powerbait. That worked on the rainbows and the tigers. It was fun to get out on the ice and catch a few!
