my buddy, my bro-in-law and myself hit deercreek this morning in a really nice snow storm. fished from about 7 till 10 ish and had our limits. all nice fat bows. don't need no stinkin ice. lmao

[#0000ff]Had a report this last week of a boater who was catching lots of big rainbows trolling near the top with shallow running crankbaits. Said that was where the warmest layer of water was after the turnover.[/#0000ff]

Nice catch, any browns ? Were you fishing the bottom or using lures

we were using worms and powerbait. fishing the top with a bubble and the bottom. didn't seem to matter, both were producing about equal. we were there for about 3 hours. [cool]
