Twin Lakes Report

I hit Twin Lakes today (Saturday) for 3 hours. I caught 4 trout that were all small (about 10- 11"). I caught about 20 perch with numerous keepers and one jumbo (10" plus). I was fishing the north lake. I saw people near the main launch ramp catching bluegill but I caught none. I was alone and further south and well out into the lake. I was fishing about 15' deep. The water was very low. The ice was safe and stable even on the edges. I measured it at 7 inch thick (glad to have power auger). The bite slowed at 1:00 PM so I bagged to come and watch football.

Thanks for the report. I was going to go there today but changed my mind and went to Chesterfield. If I have time, I'm going to give Twin a try next week. I would really like to get into to some bluegills. The chance of catching crappie or largemouth through the ice is also appealing.
