Fished the marina with Flycasting, Cajun1977, and Yper jr. We fished from 8 am till dark catching 50 or so with a couple over the slott. Pretty slow compared to last week. Snow is getting to be a pain and the slush monster is starting to show it's ugly face.[cool]

Where were you? and how deep was the ice? I'd like to get a snowmobile on it tomorrow and want to know if it's safe.

me, my son,brother-in-law,sister-in-law, nephew's and thier friends hit the berry we all caught plenty of fish most of wich were caught before 8:30 but still more after that. all on diffrent jigs tipped with minnow and coated with smell jelly. we were 28 ft later moved deeper and had no luck so we moved back. did not measure the fish but would say they were all beetween 17-23in. color of the day was white various sizes and styles.

Ya, there were shelds out on the ice, it was only 4 to 5 inches thick. so be careful, the temp was -27 at the marina at 7am so I'm sure it is getting thicker by the hour.

I was there yesterday as well, ice in the marina where we fished in about 30 feet of water was MAYBE 4 inches, I'd say more 3 1/2. I would not be taking a snow mobile out myself, if they could have heard the sound of the ice as they drove by I bet a few of those with snowmachines would have left them parked. Be careful, make sure you stay well away from bigger groups, remember they want to go home to their families as well
