Hi!
#1
Just thought I would join the club and talk about striper fishin. I have been monitoring this site for several months and have really enjoyed the content and decided to share some of my own information on Mead/Mohave striper fishing. I was out last saturday and fished all day and only caught two in the four pound range. I started at 6am and caught both fish around 8am near b5. Both fish were caught within 10 minutes of each other. I was trolling a trout colored panther martin lure. Last january I caught a 25 pounder at Boulder Beach trolling the same lure. I will find a pic and post it soon. I am heading to either Willow beach or cottonwood in the morning in search of big stripers!!!!!!!!!

Would appreciate how Willow Beach is fishing. Coming from Sandy Utah and report would be nice ,so we can figure out where we are going to go or if its worth the long drive. Thanks

Welcome Striperdude,

I also fish the same areas you do I have been out the last few weekends and have been skunked. I did catch two 3 lbers tuesday night from shore. This year does not seem to be as productive as last year. I do not know if it is because they are planting twice a week or other people are catching them all and not being reported. Going out on sunday to try again. Welcome to the forum!
