last july while fishing the big hole river in montana, i was fishing a woolly bugger in about a 15 foot deep, very fast hole and i snagged what felt like a stick, so i tugged it up and i had caught what appeared to be a piece of shizzz old fly rod, and reel, with a salmon fly still attached to the hook ring. i wiped ten pounds of moss off and surprisingly found a 9ft 5wt Wintson biix rod ross reel, water logged line, and a nice non rusty salmon fly. the rod had been in the water about two or three weeks other than a few nicks and bumps the rod and reel were fine, and the fly hadn't rusted a bit. anyway i used the rod the remaining 2 days of the trip and now have a favorite rod. the only complaint i have is that i already own two five weight rods and i could have used a six weight .
