Sac Delta

I was just wondering if anyone could or would be willing to give me a few tips an where to go to catch some crappies come spring time. I live in Utah but will be coming out to visit family the third week in march and I hope to get some fishing time in. I have fished the delta once before, last summer, we launched from Wimpy's and did real well on the largemouths and ok on the stripers but no crappie. I hopefully will be taking grandpa out and it would be nice to get him into a mess of slabs. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Cali board and thanks for the question.

Everyone knows that Whiskey Slough is the best for Slabs. It is a little outskirt of the Delta system located in Holt California. You can Google a search for it. They have campgrounds and the whole 9 yards there.[cool]

I'm sure you will do well. If you can slab the Slabs in Ut then you will have no trouble there at Whiskeys Slough.
