Tried Strawberry today for the fist time this year. Started fishing about 7:30 at Chicken Creek east close to the island. The first place I drilled a hole the depth was 40' but caught one fish there at 25', then nothing for the next two hours. Moved in closer to the island and ended up catching 6 more, all cutts and in the slot. Most were caught in 20-35 feet. They didn't seem to want anything special, tried all colors tipped with meal worm and minnows.
