There's a park just north of Winchester (6400 S I think) That has a couple pretty good holes & there's always people about. There's another good hole right where the river runs under I-215. You can walk to it from the park on Winchester pretty quick.

Thanks alot. I tried the park and it's not entirely my style but when I did see the river there and thought it would be worth a try.
Any other comments, anyone?

Park at 7800 south and the Jordan River. It looks pretty good, although I have not tried it. There is a fairly nice walk way up and down the river.

Try the above mentioned spots.. put it in deep water. That river is still really cold.. not a lot of movement . I have seen guys pull carp out with bread smashed into a ball..

Jordan cause i've never tried it and one guy says he's catchin a lot of white and smb. I don't know of any other more "natural" places, I'm not a big fan of community ponds. But if you've got a good spot between sandy and eagle mt let me know.
Thanks,
Riley
