My last escapade on the water was a bust and nearly made the papers as a statistic.[unsure]

Finally back at the ramp I helped an older guy out, getting his outfit backed down the long ramp.
He gave me a bucket of live minnows.

Hmmmm, no grandkids close. Everybody else at the ramp had all they needed so I took em' home.

I had to change all my stuff from my dangerously tippy little skiff to my big wide bottom Jon boat anyway, and it has a Live well in it with a pump to keep the fish aeriated.

So in they went. I poured a bucket of Rain water in with them.
Fired up the pump and lo and behold, two days later they are still alive n' kickin.

What do I feed em'?
It's chilly yet so they arent going to die of environmental hazards such as Global Warming, but after a couple of days they gotta be getting hungry.

[mad]Hoo Boy am I glad I came here first for the answers to a tough problem.

Which one of you wants to stand behind me as I tell my Granduaghter that I ate the poor little fishies because I couldnt find any food for them?

Some time last night one of the Barn Cats was checking out the delightful smorgas board in the boat.
When I went down this AM to check, the Cats had stepped on the Battery Charger switch, and it was half between "Manual" and "Automatic", but plumb off.
So some time during the night the Battery ran down and the pump quit.
But the whole dozen are still alive n' kickin.

It's still cold and windy here. Lordy when's it gonna let up so I can go?
