Moving
#1
I'm going to be moving to Texas in a couple weeks. I would just like to thank everyone on the Idaho board. Without a doubt I've become a more knowledgeable angler by visiting BFT. I'll still post on the Idaho board occasionally and fish Idaho when I come back to visit family.

Enjoy your move, well hope to see some Texas reports. Wished we could have met up one day.
I was just going to tell you that American Falls Dam has an opening for a facility worker.

Brian,

Sorry to hear it. You were my best source before becoming moderator and were an excellent moderator. I watched you carefully walking through goopy situations with some posts and always finding that middle ground. I hope your chub record hold for awhile so we have something to remember you by. Good luck down there and keep in touch.

P.S. I have no doubt that Windriver will also be a great moderator.

Brian,
You did a terrific job as moderator. In addition, you always had the best posts hands down. You will be missed. Maybe you had better think about that Am. Falls dam job offer! Best of luck in Texas. Guess it is time for you to start thinking bass instead of trout! Mike

Good Luck with your move and check in often. Exploring new fishing water is not a bad thing.

Thanks for the kind comments. The job in American Falls doesn't sound bad. I already have a good job as an RN here in Pocatello that I enjoy but it will be a good move career wise to work in a larger hospital. I was planning on moving out of Idaho for graduate school anyway and getting residency in a state I would likely get into graduate school will make tuition less expensive. At this point I would like to move back to Eastern Idaho in about 5 years but my family and I may end up liking San Antonio or another part of the country.

I'm sure I will find some very good fishing in Texas. I will miss the mountain streams, ice fishing and quality trout fishing Eastern Idaho offers. However, I look forward to the bass, catfish, panfish and inshore (redfish and sea trout) Texas has to offer. I may even come back to the Idaho board and post some pictures of big largemouths and red fish.[Wink]
