Powerbait Tube Jig Search?

Anybody know what happened to the Powerbait dark brown-colored crayfish color jigs that Powerbait used to make. I have searched every fish tackle store in SLC area, Cabela's, Sportsman's, Fishtech, Big 5 Sporting goods, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, you name it. Can't find'em anywhere. They were the best general use tubes I have everd used, I tell you what.[]

You try online? I would imagine that they have discontinued that line in the plastics and are using the gulp stuff now - but you can always find confidence stuff online and ebay if necessary.

They made a bass worm i liked tremendously and then stopped prodicing it. Pissed me right off, it was my favorite bass plastic[mad][mad]

[]that's what happened to me. I even called the berkley manufacture direct and talked to them and they said they discontinue making different baits do to lack of sales on a bait or have introduced a new bait like that one that is better. The one I wanted never had anything like it put back on the shelf.
They said that if the warehouse was to put it back into production a person or company would have to buy thousands of each bait before they would even consider making anymore, and very rarely start making any baits that they have discontinued. It's like everything if it works good then you had better stock up on a bunch because it seem like what works great and is selling a bunch then they discontinue it. I catch trout on these baits/worms to, they are'nt just for bass.

I am no Maniac virgin i can assure you. I probably used 25 packages of salt sticks last year alone and just bought 20 more for this spring. The worm i am talking about was produced about 5 years ago and i happened to get about 10 packs at the time and didn't think about them going away. Now that i can't find them and am out, it is very frusterating. They ALWAYS produced for me. Maybe maniac can make something lke them for me.[blush]
