Well well well!!! Would you look at what I got the Jordan on Tuesday, and let me tell you this was way up north for those who live close to the Jordan that keep wondering if there is fish in it. There is all kinds of fish there. I managed to get and eye too but he broke my line before I was able to pulled him out of the water believe it or not, so I’m taking my net next time. Ooohh tons of carp at the Jordan and catfish now had a blast on Tuesday but the LM bass was a surprise to me even though it was a small one but hit like a monster and the white bass are out now cough a few of them as well. Fun stuff!!!

How far north did you fish? I live in SLC and have been looking for an area where I can fish the Jordan near my house. I don't want your secret spots just a general location. Thanks

Sounds like you had a great outing, but trust me from someone who lives in the Bountiful area where you were fishing is not "way up north" on the Jordan River.

Well Done! Thats a long stretch of river. Did you do that all in one day? And that really isnt "north". Try a chartreuse or purple tube jig or grub next time, and you may get a few more. My buddy fishes that same stretch from 7800 S. to about 5300 S. and he does really well with soft plastics. (At least thats what he claims)

Oh please, all. The fish move around the river, they would practically starve if they didn't. Its about structure and depth, which changes every one or two miles of river, not that they are "secret" spots. Keep on fishing though, and nice job.[unimpressed]
