Thanks for the info, hopefully the 70+ degree weather coming up will take care of it.

The road to Tibble Fork is plowed all year as it is a starting point for snowmobiles. Drove up to take a look at the lake last week durring the storms and the lake is wide open. Lots of snow around the lake though.

Thanks man...I want to try it, but don't want to end up having to crawl around on the snow in order to get out. Maybe I'll drive up just to see how whether there is easy access.
thanks again

I think I'll go if nothing else just to check it out. I'll let you know what it looks like.

You can access the lake real easy by the dam.

This time of the year between the cold and snow if you are there early in the morning you can have the lake all but to yourself. Last April was a little warmer and my brother and I enjoyed most of a morning all to ourselves on the lake in our tubes.
By June, whole differnt story.

I went a couple of times last year, know what you mean. I hadn't heard anything about it this year and as I was looking at google earth to see where I might go I saw Tibble on the map. I figured that no one was talking about it because there was either no access or because it's doing real good and no one wanted to let the cat out of the bag. Hopefully it's the latter.

The roads and parking lot are all plowed and cleared, so a small car shouldn't have any problems. Finding a spot in the parking lot could get hard if everyone is trying to get one more snowmobile trip in Saturday or Sunday.
