Can anyone tell me what it costs to launch a boat at the lake and what it costs to stay overnight? I'll be down there on the weekend of the 2nd for the first time and just want to get a idea ahead of time on what it will cost. I will probably be launching from Bullfrog.

Hey Jaybird! Dude I am so stoked about going next weekend. Mom came up and made a giant pot of gumbo we can eat when we get down there. One question to everyone, what kind of underwater light is needed to catch stripers at night?

I know folks don't like to look at links but I'm not sure why[crazy], look at the link above it has a lot of good info on fishing at Powell. The link below should answer your question though, hope you guys have a good trip.

Hey thanks for the info. I don't mind links usually they are easier than try to re-explain everything again. The only other thing I was wondering is what is the difference between the two campground? Also do any have showers like they do at Willard?[/b]

Go to Lakepowell.com and check out the campground section of that site. I am almost 100% sure that they have showers there at the campground at Bullfrog and Wahweap.

The campground I stayed in had no showers but they did have an area outside the restrooms with big wash basins that can be used to clean up at (sponge bath[crazy]). Here is the only info I found about showers but I'm sure you could call and find out if you can use.

Full Hook-Up Spaces (139)

[ul][li]30 and 50 amp service, water and septic [li]Spaces accommodate over 45', most up to 70'; only two vehicles per site; some double-wide spaces available. [li]Picnic table, charcoal grill and/or fire ring. [li]Restroom in each loop [li]Coin-operated laundry and shower facilities located at the store. [li]Resort swimming pool and Jacuzzi available to campground guests. [li]Free WiFi was installed at the campground. Connectivity varies due to our remote location, usage, weather and location in the park. Also available in the Lake Powell Resort lobby. [li]139 sites with Full Hook-Ups [li]60 extra large Pull-Through Spaces [li]Spectacular views [li]Convenient store and gift shop at the campground registration office[/li][/ul]
