Took my wife and kids to Rock Cliff today to do some bank fishing, and my wife caught her first Cutthroat and my son caught a bow. Both were about 15". I caught a 29 1/2" branch and 2 huge snags!!!! I must be trying too hard[Smile]. We overheard some other banktanglers that were saying they did real well using worms. The weather was awesome, and we can't wait to head back up again!

Great Report Bubba!!! Glad to see the wife and kid got into at least one. I wish I could catch a 29" stick right about now. Four skunks in a row and praying for at least a 10" stick or a "hang-up" in the brush somewhere would be nice!!! My brother (kochanut) comes into town Monday so we may have to hit the Nelle up on Tuesday even though I hear it may be a bit "breezy"!!! Anyhow, good on ya gain!!!

Thanks for the "heads-up" on DC. Where were you fishing? What were you using to get them Walleye? We will be fishing from my boat so any help would be great. I have only fished DC maybe 4 times from my boat, but did manage a few Bow's and a nice 22" Brown last year!!! We may hit DC in the morning then head up to The Nelle in the afternoon, weather permitting of course. Thanks again for any info provided!!!

Nice stick, but how do you gut it, or do you fillet it. I haven't figured out how to do either yet! [Wink]

We professional "Stick-Men" usually catch and release our sticks, but when we catch a nice one we usually "widdle" it down into the shape of a fish to remind us what we are really after!!![Wink]

I felt it was over the slot limit, and with the rarity of the species I let it go, so one day in the future another lucky angler such as I can feel the excitement of such a catch!TS and I feel the same way about the catch & release of fine specimens such as the one I encountered today[crazy]

For as dry as it gets around here in the summer time one strike of a match and all them bad boys can be gone!!![Wink] So count your blessings that we are still able to catch the ones that are left down deep and just not up on the banks "rotting"!!!

lol...count me in. I've got a great record as well as experience with moss, rat's nests and hooking other anglers. Sounds like a perfect outfit.
