Ok here is the deal I am going to go and get a few fishing lures that are fail safe. I want to create basically a kit of lures for my GF that she can use when she goes fishing. I kept catching fish on my blue bomber aka Long A Bomber. She had the exact same lure but it was the orange one. I need to build a fail safe kit. I am going to add a black jitterbug and if I can get my hands on a blue bomber I am adding one. I need your top 3 minus those 2 for catching any fish. The lure size needs to be between 1/4 ounce and 5/8 ounce. Thanks.

Top three for catching any fish? Freshwater? Lake? River? There are alot of variables. Tough one, I'd have to say a Rooster Tail, small Rapala, or a nightcrawler??? [crazy]
Now, if it were for bass I'd say a 5" stickbait (watermelon/black flake Yumdinger) a Rapala X-Rap, or a black jig.

#1 -- 1/4 oz (size #3) Blue Fox Vibrax inline spinner - all silver with no bucktail. Everything hits these, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pickerel, crappie, bluegills, perch, and trout. AND, they're easy to fish. Just cast them out and reel them in.
#2 -- 3/8 oz spinnerbait, white. These seem to be versatile.
#3 -- Chomper's tubes. Smell like a pizzeria and catch smallmouth and largemouth like mad!

Super Stretchy and the Magic lure. Each less than a buck. The S.S. is a Strike King 3x Zulu (Redfish special...Cabelas) rigged with the lightest jighead you can fish with the Magic lure is similar but rigged with a four or four and one half inch Sluggo. Catches fish ...worldwide. I know, I've done it.
