FG report
#1
Launched at 7:30 this morning to white caps and a strong stiff breeze from the north ( I think ). We fished the cliffs by swim beach up to the pipeline. Graphed a lot of fish from 80' to 20', with the majority showing up between 30' and 50'. We boated 2 koke's, on at 60' and the other at 50'. one was caught using a green cripplure and the other on just a worm trailing a sling blade. We had to get off at 1:30 due to waves rolling over front of boat. We waited around untill 3:30 hoping the wind would die down, it just looked like it was getting worse so we left. Maybe we can try again next week.

Thanks for the report. I hope you have better luck next time. At least you caught a couple Kokes.
I hope to get out sometime this year.

Yeah, the good old wind at the Gorge. It has chased away many an angler. That is good that you stuck it out that long though, most peopely get off completely empty handed with wind that strong, you have some kokanee at least.

What water temp. did you record?

I wuz there 5/27 thru 5/31. Water temp on 5/31 was 52.

Give the weather of late as well as run-off, I'm betting no more than 54.

Fishin was less than fair, and I didn't see a whole lotta bent rods on other boats...
