Just was wondering if any fisherman are using these rod holders -- many people say they are the Best Rod Holder on the market. At $35 each they should be art least pretty darn good....

Used them on my friends boat salmon fishing and they worked great. No problems with the rod being pinned in the holder with a hard take-down and snags. They seem like they would really shine when fishing with kids as you just lift up and the rods release - no more rods lost trying to get the rod out. Cabelas has a cheaper knock-off (imagine that) that might work for you.
If you end up getting some, let us know what you think.
