I got a CWU cow tag and headed up to hunt yesterday and had a good hunt...
There was three hunters that got to hunt on the ranch so it was a lot of fun we saw lots of bulls and some big bucks..
All the fun ended when the trigger was pulled and the cow was on the ground...

my co-worker got a tag for the hardscrabble area and we were supposed to go up today but he changed his mind and we are going this saturday.... where did you hunt??

Probably around 340 lbs. dressed, should be a good one for the table.

I'm surprized that they didn't weigh your animal at the tent, normally we had to age, weigh, log location of kill and do a body fat check when we got back with our hunters and for a couple years we had to save the placentas to turn in for study at UT. state. I hope I can find one for the wife this weekend as I'll be guiding her.

They had to cut it up to get it out...The 4 wheeler would not work in four wheel drive...
