Mid November on Strawberry?

I went today (SUNDAY) to Renagade. Water temp around 43, air was 38 at 9:30, ended up at 53 with a good breeze going on
We hit water around 9:30. We headed for Indian Creek bay, and I was fishing 20+ feet. Hubby had the first fish on in around 10' of water.
I had a couple of GREAT hits and a couple LDR's right at the tip of my toon.
Then I hit about 30' of water and started landing them.



About noon it stopped, so I head for the other side of the ramp.
There was a bunch of tubes and a couple of boats there when we got there, but they were all gone when I went back, so I was a little worried it was a dead zone.
I came around in 40+' water and the hit was on! Every cast! I netted 20+ fish in 2 hours. The trick is DEEP and fast.

Please do elaborate on "deep and fast" though. You using a "depth charge" sinking line - cast and strip?

Counting down? Or indicator deep nymphing?

You are right about the camera mount for sure. I do have one, but he was too far away LOL. My old man usually catches the "me holding fish" photo, but we went our separate way yesterday. Got to love the separate pontoons for that reason[laugh]
But, I find the honey hole then he wants to fish beside me[mad]

Fast and Deep, sorry I should have elaborated. I use a very fast sinking line like a TYPE VII or a DEPTH CHARGE 300 grain. The line sinks like a brick, getting it to the bottom past the dinks fast. Then due to the wind, I was drifting pretty fast and plus the long strips, so it was a fast moving retrieve.

I expected for this time of year, fish to be shallower and more lethargic, but the opposite was the case. The water is still quite warm, surprisingly enough.
The Lake is huge and very deep in spots, so I am wondering how long before it ices up because there is no sign in the future of that happening.

BTW FG, are those rainbows or cutts? Hard (for me) to tell as the cutts I catch are Lahontans, and don't have as many spots...

I hear ya on the telling the difference. Like Kamloop and Rainbows[crazy]
I am 99% sure these are Bear Lake Cutts. But I guess some of the sterile rainbow have slashes also and I have heard Bonneville cutts also exist.
I am no biologist. Anyway, slashes = Cutthroat.
