I went up Thursday morning , started fishing at 08:00 AM . The fish were biting good until about 11:00 in shallow water but after that I had to move into deeper water to start catching them again . landed 15 fish total kept 6 . I left at 02:00 PM . I put a picture of four I kept and some of my jigging machines , I have three electric and two wind powered . I fished with gold spoons and green or pink jigs . They liked green better yesterday . The big fish is 18" I lost one that was biger at the hole . Curt G.

Can you be more specific on what is shallow and what is deeper? Looks like you had a good day. Way to go...

When you go down the boat ramp turn left and go about 50 or 60 yards . I started out 15' from the bank in 7' of water and had rods about every ten yards going into deeper water . When they quit biting I move about 40 yards out into 18 to 20 feet of water . Hope this helps . Curt G.

I will likely never fish IP, but I like to know. Words like shallow and deeper are kind of vague. The trout will behave similar in different lakes, and I often wonder..... should I move deeper? Try more shallow water? I am just trying to glean what I can from others experiences. Thanks for replying.
