Pineview Snow Removal or Lack Of It
#1
I have called both Weber County And UDOT to try to get someone to plow out the turn offs at Pineview with NO success.

The County stated that UDOT was over the roads around Pineview, so I called the Huntsville UDOT sheds, only to get a recording.
I left a message and asked to be called back.
Well That Never Happened!

Does anyone know who else to call and ask about snow removal around Pineview?

If a lot of us called and asked for help with the parking conditions and safety issues, perhaps something might be done.

Thanks,
DKS.

I also tried Dale to no avail. The only reason there is any parking is the caretaker did what was done. I asked if he could and he said he would see what he could do. I gave his son some cash to give to him for that. He said he couldn't take money or he could get in trouble?? Anyway, he has the means if we can figure out how to get him some money legally. Any ideas? He is a real nice guy.

Maybe if he left his fuel cans out on "accident", we could fill them up and return them on "accident"!

Well, someone used to plow the area.

I wonder if it would help to call The Weber County Sheriff's Office and tell them how unsafe the area is when not plowed.

How about a the DWR? Maybe they can pull some strings. I want the marina plowed. But I can get around that. It would just be nice. I have seen that parking situation up at the narrows. I would be inclined to think the sheriff would rather ticket you for improper parking than do something about it. Or tell you to park on the south side it in plowed. I just thought of a inconvenient but safe solution. Drop your stuff off at the caretaker's place and park on the south side and the pick it back up on the north when you leave.
