Palasade bows and Redmond pike 1/19/08
#1
I hit PaliSade from 8am to 11:30 am and caught 12 rainbows in the 13-15" range and fat! I fished on the north east side by the green pumphouse. Unfortunately, no tigers today. After stopping for a bite in Gunnison, I made my way down to Redmond. First off, I want to thank Pezvela for all the help and advice he gave me. I had never fished for pike before and his help is what did the trick. I ended up catching 2 pike, one 24" and the other 23". I know thats not big but it was a riot pulling in my first ever pike. I was at redmond from 12:30 to 5:50 pm. It made for a great day of fishing!

How thick was the ice at Redmond? I might go there this weekend. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think he caught those through the ice. Judging from the pictures and from pezvela not ice fishing and going there recently.

Redmond doesn't freeze. Soft water all year around.

My bad[frown] I have family that lives in Salina and I thought they told me that it freezes. Maybe I will have to take my little boat for Redmond and hit the ice at Otter Creek or Fish Lake. Thanks[Smile]
