Average size. 10-16 inches predominately, the majority at about 12-14. Few above that with only bluegills as the predominant forage now. Numbers yes, giants....no.

Hit Mantua today talk about slush and cracking ice
Hit the lake about 9:00am started to make my walk out from the boat dock you could see were the the Ice has cracked and refrozen over gave me the heebee geebees but none the less kept on trucking it in. Walk about 100 yards out in about 25 feet of water. Bites came in waves pulled out a bunch of dinky 3 to 4 in perch no gills only keepers were 3 14 to 16 inch bows. Caught everything on homemade ice flies and waxies

The ice kept popin and swakin at me the rain kick in and that mad for a miserable time left around 1:00

Ice was about 8 to 10 inches but and from the sounds of things the be careful were you step

[cool] "Walk about 100 yards out in about 25 feet of water"

[#0000bf]What make and model of sonar are you using? I have never found a 25 foot depth, even when the lake is full...especially only 100 yards from the ramp.

Or...man, that slush was REALLY deep.

Im guessing here no fish finder this year [frown][frown][frown] The old cuda died couldn't resuscitate it. Had it for quite a few years now, It was a good little fish finder Worked well on the pontoon also on the ice dont know if it was always accurate but I did catch quite a few fish with it RIP Cuda fish finder [angelic][angelic][angelic]
