Heading to Deep creek this weekend. Any word on the ice and snow conditions up there? Looks like we have had some cold temps and I hope it firms things up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We hit devils creek today and ice was really good, fishing was decent. If the conditions were anything like devils you could drive a truck on the ice! haha, by the way it snowed from 8 - 1 while we were there so probably either some slush or about 6 - 8 inches of fresh snow on top of the ice, like i said we didnt go to deep, we went to devils but fairly close hope it helps

just talked to my buddy who had just left deep creek he said it was firm to the edge, around 6 inches of powder though, but maybe take a plank just in case said the fishing is still hot, said between 2 they landed maybe 25 from 12-4:30 and a couple 2lb

Wouldnt need much of a plank at all, as far as the edges at devils probably a 3 foot plank would work its nothing you cant hop over.. but in a wheelchair id probably throw a 5 footer in just in case! hope the bite is still good at deep let me know! thanks!
