Its companies like Sportsmans that need the bailout money not the insurance and bankers.

It's a Chapter 11 filing, so they should be able to restructure and keep stores open...

Yeah they were closing 20 something stores and selling another 15 and none of them in Utah, so I think we are good as far as that goes, but will they be able to keep the shelves stocked??? Anyone know when they are going to have their little "Brown Bag Special"??? Usually happens in April, just wondering if anyone knows if it is going to happen this year. Got a lot of goodies for a good price last year and wouldnt mind stocking up for the Powell trip again this year.

No jabs taken Tope, you were right in a sense and I see your point exactly!!! My bad, again just trying to get the word out and wasnt trying to make a big deal of the news is all!!! Glad the Mods moved it to where they thought it should be!!!

they have bins full of crank baits still at the 7200 S SLC store. They are old and probably not exactly what you would buy for some water but I buy them to fish at Powell because they are only like $2.50 a pop so if you loose them its not the end of the world. I try to find all the ones that look like shad. One thing that I was not happy with is the lack of my favorite spinners. That shelf was almost empty. There was not any of the ones that I use left. I asked them what the BIG deal was an they said that they could not order more for some reason. If they dont get them in I will pay almost $2.00 more per spinner at any other store in Utah. Looks like I will be gettin wet more often this year.
