Calling on the experts here on BFT! At what water temp do the northerns spawn here in Utah? And how long does it last? I am planning a trip and dont want to be right in the middle of it where they wont be interested. Thanks for your help.

I am not sure if the DWR even knows for sure as in their pond (hatchery) at 55 degree water about 3 weeks ago the males were starting to milt and females still kinda hard...whereas while netting Yuba 2 weeks ago with water in the 42 degree range fish were into the very beginning of the spawn phase with males up and females beginning to show.
I would think that they will be finishing up here very shortly as I looks like the spawn was probably about March 26-April 10th this year as a ballpark range...on Yuba.
