I am planning to take my three year old daughter fishing on Friday afternoon for her first fishing trip but I am not sure where to take her. Does anyone have any suggestions I was thinking east canyon or lost creek? any ideas would be very helpfull thanks!

It will not really matter where you take a three year old, just make sure that she has fun. Keep her warm, full, and entertained.

For the first time and that young I would try one of the ponds the DWR has, they keep then stocked and most are in or by a park so the young one can play as well...

Bassrods is right on this. Are you going fishing and taking your daughter, or are you taking your daughter fishing? There is a differance.
The community ponds are the way to go for young kids. You can fish and they can play in the playground until you "get one" then you can call them over to reel it in.
Make it about her and she'll have a good time.

I would call the fish and game and find out which bodies of water have been stocked in the past week. Those fish are eager to bite and usually aren't to far from the launch ramps where they were planted.
