I have a remarkable four year old who with his talents has landed a local fishing show. Cody has performed at local boat and tackle shows giving demonstrations on how to catch those mighty bass. We are very proud of him and have a goal of helping other children across the nation. Go to our web site and check out some of his shows and please email me and let me know what you think. We would love to put something like this on national television. The more people we can reach the more children we can help. Check out all the videos and look at our 1o min promotional video it will make you laugh. www.keithandcody.com

I guess you haven't watched his videos. He isn't your average four year old. If you didn't notice that is a baitcaster he is using. I am very proud of my son and he is the result of what any parent can do if you just spend time with your kids. Is he any different than any other kid out there? Not really. This is what I want to convey to the public. Spend time with your kids, don't force any sport on them, keep it fun and enjoyable, and the rest will happen. Cody has documented bass over 5 lbs already. Yes, caught by himself, cast and reeled in on his own. Don't believe it, keep watching, they are coming up on later episodes.

I didn't mean it as insult.

That is great if he can cast a baitcaster, and I wholeheartedly believe that father teaching their kids to fish and keep fishing with them throughout their childhood and adult life will create a strong bond.

I am only 16, and I am trying to become pro, it may sound like being an astronaut or cowboy, but I feel god sent me here to be the best damn bass fisherman out there. I am signed up for about 15 tournaments this year, and hope to start planning for a pro career ( If i succeed is a big ?)

I have your site bookmarked and hope to see more episodes posted.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I just took it the wrong way. I wish you luck in your endeavors in becoming a professional. I fish for a living now and it is a tough life. You can do anything you put your mind too. The best advice I could give you is "time on the water" and learn everything you can about the bait that the fish eat. Our next two episodes are about the Charger tournament Cody and I fished. I learned that you cannot fish a tournament when you have to worry about a camera. We had the right pattern, but just was in the wrong spot. Anyway, keep watching and hopefully you can learn something from our shows. Good-luck and email me if you ever have any questions that I may be able to help with.
