First largey at powell and hite report.
#1
Went to powell friday to check out the water at hite. No way could I launch my boat there. Other people with smaller boats that didnt weigh that much were launching but you could see where other people had been stuck in the mud. The water is about 200 yards from the end of the cement. Any way hadnt been to bullfrog in years so went over and did some quick fishing from shore. I could see the bass in there beds in about 6 to 10 feet of water. Casted into them and nailed a few here is a pic of the best one. Also talked to some striper fishermen that were doing great. They said sardines at about forty feet.

Very nice fish.
How big is your boat? The main Hite ramp is out of the water, however, if you go South just a bit there is a dirt ramp that is in good condition. Water was 9 feet deep at the end of the floating ramp when I pulled the boat out on 5/11. It's only 19 feet long and about 3500 lbs, but it was no problem at all. Looks like the water has come up about 4 feet since then.
