Hey everyone, i was wondering what you all thought about the Banjo minnow (the new version and the old). Ive fished this minnow with pretty good success for largemouth and smallmouth, including a bunch of other species.
I'm just looking for the overall opinion about it and maybe what you all have caught with it.
Thanks.

[indent]Welcome to BFT Travis23, we have had this topic before and it seems they work for some folks and not others. I have had very little luck useing them here in the NE, but some folks swear by them. If it works for you, thats great.

I would love to try them, but I think I need to catch a fish first.

love the banjo minnow, it is my go to lure for big pickeral and lots of bass landed on them too. only downside is that I run out of banjo hooks and have lots of minnows and cant fish them till i buy more hooks!

Hello Travis23
I have never had any experience using the Banjo Minnow but have several friends who say they work great. Just cant bring myself to buy them yet but Im sure I will eventually.
Actually Id appreciate if any of the viewers from this sight could offer any advice on float tube fishing. Ive just purchased a U-Boat2000 from Cabellas, and as of yet to purchase necessary items such as a life jacket.
Im planning on picking one up this coming week and try my luck with this little gem, as I fish a small lake not 5 miles from my front door.
There are tons of Blue gill around the dock and lots of smaller bass in the grass beds just a short ways from the dock I normally fish from.
Id like to take the U-Boat out to some of the bends on the opposite shore and a nice rock bank to the north shore.
Thank you for the gracious welcome
