I don't see why Utah doesn't let anyone shoot anything but "trash fish" with a bow. I moved here from Kansas about 29 yrs ago and we used to be able to shoot ANY fish in the water with a bow...during bow "season". In Nebraska we would do the same thing...I MISS THAT!!!
What would you do if you accidentally shot a walleye while shooting at a carp that you MISSED?? Go turn yourself in to an officer?? [crazy]LOL We need to find out how to get a "season" for bowfishing in this state for fish OTHER than trash fish...ya think???"

See the regulations. You can shoot certain gamefish in certain waters, i.e. Fishlake,

great pics! I've had the fishing bow setup for years but never got around to using it. Did you launch off from the Provo Boat Harbor? I presume this is the south east side.

No. I launched in Saratoga. These were near Pelican point and further south
