Electric Lake report
#1
Went Camping up at Electric lake this weekend. Had the lake to ourselves on Sunday afternoon. It rained on us twice for about two hours and the fishing was great. Caught probably around twenty cutts and tigers each day nothing too big but it was fun. Left home with a limit for the smoker and enough minnows to last me a few trips.

just a thought, I noticed you were fishing from a boat. DON'T FORGET TO CLEAN YOUR BOAT AND TRAILER VERY WELL BEFORE GOING TO ANOTHER LAKE. ELECTRIC LAKE HAS THE DREADED ZEBRA MUSSEL IN IT AND WE DON'T WANT IT IN OTHER LAKES. THANKS

i think it funny that anyone would think that all that needs to be done to keep the mussels form spreding is to wash your boat's and trailes off. i'm not saying not wash them.. the mussels are aredy being spred to a lot's of other lakes.. if all it takes is a little bit of them to be on something and be placed in a nother lake or stream.. then the ducks and seagulls are all ready spreding them to all the other lakes in the state..

but i'm sure someone well blame the boaters for it anyway!! [crazy]

I was thinking the same thing....[crazy] It seems the rivers would spread them faster too, I support trying to do what we can to help stop the spread of those things, I even power washed a couple ducks and Cormarants up at Electric.[Image: happy.gif]
