Headed to the lake last night in hopes of getting on some fish. Put in around 5:45 and ran to first spot, where I lost 4 fish due to trying to use too small a hook with too large a bait. Then found some schooling fish, and quickly caught 4 keeper size largemouth on 5 casts, and losing two more. Started working some deep ledges and caught 4 more keeper fish. Boy was it humid!!! Seemed to lose more fish than usual due to small hooks, which I have since resolved. Fished the evening with my fingers crossed since I have been having intermittent motor issues, but everything worked as planned last night. Best five would have pushed 12 pounds or so. All fish caught on 10' LFT Worm in 8-12 feet of water.
All fish released to be caught again.
