Otter Creek 7-3

I took my brother-in-law and nephew Stephen to O.C. this morning. They are visiting for the week from out of state. Predictably, Stephen was the hot stick. We all limited, but Stephen anchored his limit with this nice 18" 2 3/4 lb rainbow. Power Bait was the ticket.

That is a nice looking fish!!Looks like you guys had a blast was there a lot of boats on the water?

Yeah, just look for the fleet. Good news is that most of them are fishing boats. Not much of the power squadron crowd here. Pretty enjoyable crowd.

Did you have better luck in the boat or from shore?

We've been fishing from the boat. My feeling is now that it's warmed up, the boat is the better option.
