Night shore fishing from flaming gorge

My parents are renting a cabin at red canyon lodge at flaming gorge from Thursday to Saturday this week. I haven't fished there for a long time and never from shore. I want to target the ling to see how they taste. Is there a good place to catch some at night from shore near the Red Canyon Lodge?

I don't think I'll be fishing much during the day if at all just at night as I try to target the ling. Any advice would be nice. I did a search but did not find any posts on fishing from shore for them at night.
