We ended up with a decent weekend overall. We did not limit, but we did catch fish. We ended up with 7 total for the trip between 2 of us. Lost the 2 biggest ones of course and 4-5 jacks. The fish were between 33-26" with one 23" jack. The weather was hot on Thursday and Friday, but the rest of the weekend was nice. Thursday and Friday were slow, but Saturday was ok and Sunday was the best. I used the home made roe from the weekend before and it worked fine. I got 3 more pounds of roe to make now so I am set for Steelhead. Time now to stock up on supplies and wait for Steelhead season.

Sounds like you've got those Idaho Kings figured out. Any pictures? I also can't wait to try for fall Steelhead. Getting the tackle ready is half the fun.

Sounds like you had a good trip. I also had a good trip, we fished for 2 days and all 4 of us caught nice salmon also on roe. The biggest was 37" and 20lbs, man did he ever rip some line. It's to bad it's all done now.

Congrats on the salmon. It does suck that it is over now. I had a blast. The area you were fishing looks familar. Can't wait for Steelhead season.
