Heading to fish lake for some fishing
#1
Hello everyone I am heading to Fish Lake for about a week I have not fished there in 20 years and would like to find some assistance on how the fishing is and what we should use for trout, splake, or lakers? it doesn't really matter if the fishing is super hot I will just be happy to get away from the city and out of the heat!!!!

Willow blade pop gear with a chartreuse wedding ring for all the rainbows you want to catch.Just long line it out the back of the boat and troll out in the middle of the lake.

Jig up some perch in the weed bed and on the edge with worm on a bare jig head and make yourself some cut bait. Use a white 3" tube jig with a chunk of perch at the weed line for splake, and as deep as 70' for splake and macs, never caught anything big just pups. You really need a good fish finder to find schools of fish on the bottom in deeper water away from the weedline.

I was out there last week for 4 days and the fishing was unbelievable. We caught most of them on small fire tiger rapalas in all depths mostly just out from the first marina. It is such a nice place that it would require a lot of concentration to not relax and enjoy it.

Have a great trip!
