I had really good success on cicadas thursday night. And a fishing buddy of mine caught some on a small elk hair caddis pattern, size 16 I think.

I haven't fished it lately, but this time of year I usually do well with a Turk's and a tungsten dropper below it. A size 14 green free living caddis usually gets me a lot of fish there. Also hare's ears and dark mayfly nymphs usually do well for me. Bring some caddis emergers if you're going to fish in the evening, they can be killer.

Sounds like a red SanJuan Worm and a lightning bug were the ticket for others fishing the Logan recently. I always liked the basics on the Logan:
Red San Juan
BH Pheasant tail
BH Hares Ear

Can't go wrong with those! Bread and Butter! Good luck!

as the summer goes on and certainly should start now with the increasing heat- the standard stimulater, hopper, or
chernobyle pattern with a bead head dropper of some sort always produces.

Unfortunately, I do not (I love Logan). I currently live in Bowling Green, KY. I grew up in Farmington, UT, and spent a lot of time fishing up there. Used to love to hit the Logan and East fork of the Bear. Good luck!

Ahhhh...the old Hopper/Dropper! Perhaps the funnest way to fish! (especially when they are hitting the hopper occassionaly!).

Sounds like a good time to hit the Logan. Now if I could just drag myself away from the bass, but they're too dang fun. Has anyone noticed the caddis coming off in the evenings up there?
