Pineview Tigers
#1
Had a few days of vacation and spent them camp'n with lotsa fish'n at Pineview. Here's a couple pics of some Tigers we managed to boat for photo ops.

Fish were measured out on a bump board and taped for girth while in the water for release.

First fish measured out at 43" with a 18.5 girth.

Second fish was a HAWG and measured out at 44" with a 20" girth.

That's awesome! Were you trolling or just casting? I have never gone for tigers and want to real bad! Not really sure how to go about doing it.

Both fish were caught trolling.

We lost another one an hour later after catching 44" figured just as big or bigger as it stripped off line several times. As soon as 44" was netted the hook instantly popped out in the net. So the one we lost was also barely lip hooked.

At 0730 water temp was 74* off at about 1700 water temp was pushing 79*.

Fish including the one we lost we were trolling in deep water 30' plus.

Early in the Am the berthas will be closer but didn't get anything on the cast and/or trolling...

Prop wash troll had a couple of bumps but no hook set lure running 15'...Argh!!...as the water warms up berthas are going to deeper water.

Didn't pick up much on the fish liar for large fish in less than 15'. [Smile] [Smile]
