Great to see you up there again Bob! The fishing was indeed worthwhile but better yet, the weather was amazing!
You'll have to let me know what you think of those Bleeder Chains when you and John have a chance to hook a few walleye with them!

So you guys must have gotten into them in another area. Dang drift boat is not much of an explorative craft so I just kept inside my comfort zone with the shore and my truck in sight. I would hate to be blown all the way on the other side of saleratus wash and then have to call for help. I saw the wind pick up from a dead calm morning to a frikin blistering sand storm and 3-4 foot white caps. I did end up catching a few small walleye and one whopper perch. I bet Sunday was good though with all the cloud cover. It was nice to meet you Bob and nice to see you again Todd and Chad. Sorry I diddnt make it to your camp guys I had to work a lot later than I planned on so I decided to bag that Idea. Maybe next time. BTW I diddnt catch any walleye on bottom bouncers but I did catch a smallmouth. My walleye/perch were caught on a wobble/swimming jig head and a half a night crawler while I anchored up in the mud flats just past the channel. Go figure...... how was the night fishing did anybody try cranks?

Chad, I missed out but caught a bunch of salmon for the smoker. Will be out in mid Sept. for one last trip.

I have a LOT of respect for you Scott...aka Kelley! Almost everytime I have been up there you are out on the water in your drift boat with your dogs. That really is what fishing is all about!
We did try cranks on Saturday evening but we didn't have the best luck. Seemd like the fish were staying down in the weeds and we couldn't coax them to come out and play. Still a beautiful night on Starvation!

FOD: figured you got tied up Scott when you didn't show up. Chad was wondering if you were sitting up at our camp putting a dent in his whikey bottle while we were out, but I assured him if you had come my phone would've been ringing. Like Chad said we pulled cranks for a couple hours after dark, and was really dark, with no hits.
I'll keep an 'eye out for you next time I get up there.
