[fishin] Gone out fishing at Lake Mead at least once a week for the past month. No luck at all. Saw them under the radar but no bites at all. Any one have any clue? Where are the hot spots nowadays? Any info would help. Cheers!!

Just keep trying, they are out there its just a matter of being in the right spot/depth. If u have a boat try trolling with chovies I would also try to net some shad just keep pushing you'll get one good luck

Last Sunday stripers were feeding on the surface between Sand Island and Gov't Wash at about daylight. They were chasing very small shad and didn't show any interest in the swimbait I was tossing. Maybe it was too big? Switched to a zara spook jr. and ended up with seven in the box. Took about thirty casts to do it though, had to put the lure right on top of them to get any attention. Jigged up another striper later. A lot of effort for eight small fish.
