Does anyone put a less pitched prop on their boat for Flaming Gorge? It will be about 1000 feet more in elevation than here in Denver.
What do you guys think?

No worries, mate. You should be fine. You may loss a little but not much. I'd go with what you got on now if your engine is running at the proper operating RPMs now.

Most folks I know do not have to change the prop for Flaming George. They might lose a couple m.p.h., but not too serious. I lose 2 m.p.h. from Starvation to Flaming Gorge. I can barely get the boat to plane on Strawberry or Fish Lake. If I had one to change to, I would for those lakes.
