Madison and Gallatin help
#1
I will be visiting a friend in the bozeman area the first week of october, driving north from utah. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of some good wade fishing areas on either or both rivers, and possibly an idea of what fly patterns may be producing this time of year. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

A good place to fish the madison is down by lyons bridge and by 3 dollar bridge. these areas are wader freindly and so good places to start. my advice as flies go is bead head nymphs with a trestrial stimulator above it seems to always produce fish. Im sure you will catch fish so get after it and post some pics
